From the folks at Yahoo! comes this free multimedia player.

As you'd expect from Yahoo!, it's easy to use.

Use the player to enjoy CDs and most types of sound or movie formats on your system as well as streaming audio and video from the Internet. (RealAudio and RealVideo formats are the most obvious exceptions.)

Along with its built-in Web browser, you get access to radio stations from across the globe, music and concerts, music news, audio books, and Webcast TV/movies/videos.

Other nice features include support for skins, the CDDB, and system tray control.

Formats supported include .mp3 (including Icecast streaming and VBR files, plus M3U, PLS, and YPL playlists), .wav, .mid, .rmi, .au, .snd, all types of Windows Media audio and video, .avi, .aif, .ivf, and MPEG video.
