Tag Check (258 Kb)

With TagCheck you can edit the lists of tags for which a closing tag is forbidden (such as META and BR) and those for which a closing tag is optional (such as P and LI).

This allows you to check tags which you habitually close even though it's not required. TagCheck does not check any other aspect of the HTML code.

An HTML file is read and checked for correct nesting and closure of all the tags. It is then displayed on the screen with all the errors marked. You can edit the file in place and save it, either to the same file or a new location.
