Das TeamSpeak-Protokoll ist nicht offen spezifiziert. Da es auch keine eigene Unterstützung für offene Protokolle wie SIP, H.323 oder IAX bietet, ist TeamSpeak zur Zeit mit normaler IP-Telefonie inkompatibel.

Trillian is a standalone chat client with support for AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo! Messenger and IRC.

It has the ability to login with multiple AIM/ICQ/MSN/Y! accounts at the same time.

It has a custom, skinned graphical interface using XML, transparent windows, buddy list integration/importing among all mediums and many other features.

For IRC, we support multiple server connections, dcc encryption (available only from our web site) and friends lists to name a few.

Version 0.62 includes the following changes:

Copy/paste within the windows. Sounds on incoming/outgoing messages. AIM server-side buddy importing. SOCKS4/5/HTTP proxying for most mediums.

Many user-requested feature additions.
